From January 2025 we will be making a small increase to our Minimum Suggested Contributions (MSC) for Services which you can read about in our new Service & Pricing Guide. We will also require a Direct Debit to be set up for membership payments that will be charged at £4.00/month. Setting up a Direct Debit through our partner GoCardless is simple, safe and fast. Key Challenges
- Rising Costs: Operating expenses currently total £230,000 annually, a figure expected to rise due to expanding services, increased staffing, and higher living costs.
- Subsidised Fees: Despite offering oxygen therapy at £20 per session, the true cost exceeds £60.
- Funding Gaps: A growing annual deficit highlights the need for financial adjustments, exacerbated by limited grant funding and reduced fundraising capacity.
Strategic Adjustments for Sustainability
- Revised Pricing Structure (2025): Incremental price increases will start in January, generating additional funds for the charity. Further adjustments are planned to balance affordability and sustainability.
- Encouraging Contributions: Small additional payments (e.g., £2, £5, or £10 per session) could collectively cover essential costs and subsidise services for those in financial hardship.
