Contributions & Access.

Keeping specialist therapies and wellbeing support accessible through the power of community, fundraising and charitable support.

Supporting Access For Everyone.

As a registered Scottish charity, we work hard to keep our services affordable and accessible. The contributions shown below help us provide life changing therapies and support whilst ensuring The Oxygen Works can continue serving our community for years to come.

The true cost of many services is significantly higher than the contribution requested. Through fundraising, grants and donations we are able to bridge that gap.

Membership Categories.

As a registered charity, we prioritise our charitable funding towards people living with disabilities, neurological, long term and complex health conditions.

To help us do this sustainably, we operate different levels of charitable subsidy. Core Clients receive the highest level of support, while Non-Core Clients continue to benefit from significantly reduced rates that represent only a proportion of the true cost of providing our services.

This approach allows us to welcome a wide range of people who may benefit from our therapies, while ensuring that charitable resources remain focused on those with the greatest long term health needs.

Save With Multi Session Bookings.

To support clients who benefit from regular therapy, a 7% discount is automatically applied when booking more than one eligible session in the same week. Discounts are applied automatically by our booking system.

All sessions must be booked and paid for in advance.

If a discounted multi session booking is not fully used, any attended sessions will be charged at the standard single session rate. Depending on the circumstances and in line with our cancellation policy, any remaining balance may be added to your client account as credit for future bookings.

Please note that cancellations made within the cancellation period may not be eligible for credit or refund.

Need Additional Support?

At The Oxygen Works, we believe that financial circumstances should not become a barrier to maintaining access to therapies and support that contribute to health and wellbeing.

Our Wellbeing Fund has been established to provide additional support for Core Members who may be experiencing financial hardship and are struggling to meet the suggested contributions for ongoing maintenance sessions.

The Wellbeing Fund is intended to provide temporary assistance and is awarded on a discretionary basis. Applications are considered individually, taking into account personal circumstances, available charitable resources and the level of support required.

Where support is approved, it is usually offered for an agreed period of time and reviewed regularly. We encourage clients to contribute towards the cost of their sessions wherever possible, helping us to maximise the support available across our community.

If you feel that financial circumstances may affect your ability to continue accessing services, we encourage you to speak with a member of our team in confidence. We will always do our best to explore what support may be available.

Additional Services & Activities.

The Oxygen Works is home to a wide range of services, activities and support opportunities designed to promote health, wellbeing and community connection.

Alongside the therapies and services listed above, we also offer:

  • A welcoming environment with refreshments
  • Homemade soup (while stocks last…it is good! Very good!)
  • Wellbeing groups and community activities
  • Workshops and educational events
  • Craft and social groups
  • Partnership programmes and specialist support services
  • Complementary therapies and massage treatments delivered by independent practitioners

Many of our community activities are free to attend or operate on a donation basis. Details of upcoming groups, workshops and events can be found on our social media (mainly Facebook). If you are looking for something and cannot locate it, please speak to a member of our team.

For services provided by independent practitioners, pricing and availability may vary. We encourage you to contact the practitioner directly for information about treatment options, availability and costs.

If you are unsure who to contact, our team will be happy to help direct you to the most appropriate service.

Booking & Cancellation Information.

To help us provide the best possible service and ensure appointments remain available for those who need them, we ask all clients to note the following:

Booking Appointments

All sessions must be booked and paid for in advance.

For new bookings, changes to existing appointments or questions about availability, we encourage you to contact our team by telephone on 01463 240 365. This allows us to provide the most up to date information and help find the most suitable appointment for your needs.

Whilst we will always do our best to respond to emails and social media messages, telephone contact is the quickest and most reliable way to arrange appointments.

Multi Session Discounts

Discounted multi session bookings are available for selected services.

If a discounted booking is not fully used, any attended sessions will be recalculated at the standard single session rate. Subject to our cancellation policy, any remaining balance may be applied as credit to your client account for use towards a future booking.

Cancellation Policy

We operate a 48 hour cancellation policy for all appointments.

Appointments cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice may be transferred or credited to your client account for future use.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or appointments that are not attended, are not normally eligible for transfer or account credit. Our Cancellation Policy can be viewed here.

These policies help us manage limited capacity, reduce wasted appointments and ensure that as many people as possible can access the support they need.

NHS Referrals & Commercial Services.

The contributions and pricing shown on this page apply to individual clients accessing services directly through The Oxygen Works.

Services provided on behalf of NHS departments, commercial organisations, insurers or other third party organisations are charged at a full cost recovery rate.

If you are making a referral on behalf of an NHS service, commercial organisation or other third party, please contact our team at contact@theoxygenworks.com to discuss your requirements and obtain current pricing information.
