Accessible Gym & Anti Gravity Treadmill.

Our supervised gym contains specialist equipment which is ideally suited for people living with long-term health conditions and disabilities to improve their health and wellbeing.

We have a range of bespoke equipment that simply isn’t available in other gyms, all within our friendly and supportive therapy centre. The HUR equipment is specially designed to be easy to operate as it uses compressed air rather than weights. Our accessible gym will also support the work of our Physiotherapy services as well as working for those individuals looking to support their rehabilitation and personal training goals.

We will work with individuals to assess their goals and the relevant equipment that can help to realise those objectives. Access to our gym will be by appointment only as some equipment may be required by our physiotherapy team to support their work.

The Alter G Anti Gravity Treadmill was delivered to us in November, with money very kindly raised by The Highland Cross, and even in that short time we have seen how  instrumental it can be in quite literally changing lives.

Whether you are recovering from a sports injury or orthopaedic surgery, trying to gain strength while managing a neurological condition or even if you just want a good stand or stretch whist feeling fulling supported the Anti Gravity treadmill can help.
The treadmill empowers people to move in ways they may not have thought possible and can improve wellness and enhance physical performance with no pain. With only 6 of these machines available for use in Scotland we are delighted to be able to invite you to come and trial the treadmill to see how it could help you or your clients.

The Anti Gravity Treadmill made me feel like I was running on air…
