On 18th April 2024, we welcomed Ian Ramage from STV to The Oxygen Works to learn more about the life enhancing services delivered out of our small centre.
The focus and purpose of the interview was to highlight the challenges faced by small charities like The Oxygen Works, to manage unprecedented increase in demand, increased cost to deliver services and greater challenges to raise funds.
The Oxygen Works costs over £270,000 per year just to keep our doors open. This does not include and ability to grow service provision or capacity. The charity is self-funded and relies on donations from the public to fund it’s work.
